Tour Of Duty Movie Campaign Details
A few background details for those new to the battle The
Tour of Duty Movie Campaign, its been an on going discussion amongst fans
of the show for years for a 4th series , a reunion project , or a
film.
In 2006 due to determination, skill, luck, a film
seemed a step closer.
Sherry at Golden Horse Productions www.goldenhorseproductions.com
along with Deb from Tour of Duty FanPage www.tourofdutyfanpage.com
had
been working really hard together to move this dream along to make it a real
project.
Unfortunately it never happened.
Here you can read about how the Tour Of Duty fans community tried to help.

They
Need Our Help and Support !!!!
Here's How You Can Get Involved
Tour of duty letter campaign
The
pen is in fact mightier than the M16 and even Ruiz’s M60.
The
future of a Tour of Duty film lies in demonstrating that there is a large enough
fan base to make it a financially viable business venture. Here's where you can
make your voice heard.
Each
letter a company receives is considered to represent 500-1000
individuals/potential customers who didn’t write. Emails are also important,
but as a genuine measure of commitment and interest, a handwritten postcard or
letter carries more influence than you might imagine.
Post
cards are most effective since execs do not want to open letters nor do they
want to read letters. Postcards are cheaper to send and work best.
Tour
of Duty fans are well-known for making a good impression so please keep any
correspondences polite and to the point, using correct spelling and grammar (use
your spell-check).
As a rule, it is also helpful to include some basic demographic and consumer
information about yourself, such as age, location, and a propensity to spend
disposable income on all things Tour Of Duty-related.
Be
specific in telling them that you would like a two-hour movie bringing
the Bravo Company back together.
Not a reunion show.
IMPORTANT
!!!!! Please
be sure to add to your correspondence
That
you have read on the Tour of Duty FanPage www.tourofdutyfanpage.com
Please
ask all your friends and relatives to write a letter or postcard for you. Send
them one the campaigns e-cards and get them to pass them on the their friends,
these e-cards are an great way to spread the word quickly to friends and family.
But always remember to send a REAL Postcard into the people listed below.
If
you’d like to see this Tour of Duty Film come to fruition — these are some
the people who need convincing:

the page

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on 'contact us" at

Be sure if you do this that you also write a snail mail letter to the above.
